Millions of people have been affected by floods in Pakistan, the death toll is rising, and the government has declared a national emergency.Families in Pakistan have lost everything in the recent monsoon rains and floods. The situation is even worse than the devastating floods of 2010.
USWS Established since 2003, United Social Welfare Society (USWS) is a humanitarian organization registered [DO/SW/BM/RYK] under Volunteer Social Services (Registration and Control) Ordinance of 1961 Societies with the Government of Punjab. USWS is a non-profit and non-governmental organization, mandatory to work for a just and humane society by empowering local communities which it speaks for.USWS is engaged in the enhancement and protection of human rights. It builds on the universal principles of human rights set-forth in the UDHR (The Universal Declaration of Human Rights). Women, children, and marginalized communities are at the very heart of USWS’ socio-organizational endeavors and development programs. In order to intervene into the existing human rights situation in Pakistan, USWS enhances and protects the peoples’ equal right to social, economic and human development without any discrimination to race, culture, sex, religion etc
